
The day begins with coffee or tea on the veranda....Alex still thinks she's a lapdog...

After a morning of "chores" we wandered over to the Grand Hotel's pool for an afternoon of sunbathing....


Our walk home took us by this charming cottage....

...and here we are ready for an evening on the town....
but we were having so much fun we never left the veranda other than a few forays to the kitchen to create a meal...
Yes, those 187 stairs to climb after an evening downtown helped make me content to stay at home!!!

Oh, it looks like you gals had a great time on the beautiful Island. How exciting to be there during the finish of the Chicago to Mackinac Race.
