Yesterday was my day with Miss Emma. Our first task of the day was "cooking" in the kitchen. A gourmet meal of uncooked rice and water, with a bit of apple juice to drink. We did make some edible jello too....which, don't tell her mama, but we ate with our fingers right out of the dish after it had set!
Later in the day she became the fairy from Pinocchio - yes, we had another viewing of that classic. Amazing how still another generation is captured by it's magic! And yes, that is a different outfit, because well, there was an hour of painting during the day..... I however remained in my pj's all day!
What can I say - she has her "nana" wrapped around her finger!
