.......Okay, enough winter!!!! This photo was taken a week ago when we received 14" of snow in one day. This morning we have freezing rain on top of it....I've just spent an hour trying to chop through what has now become 2" of ice on my sidewalks and drive......only to have the open spaces fill up with water immediately, which will freeze tonight when the temp drops once again into the frigid zone. I give up!!! 
It was just yesterday that Emma and I were outdoors enjoying the snow piles and I was able to see the beauty of it through the eyes of a 3 yr old. She spent the day and night with me. One of her new favorite things is to get on my computer and play PBS games! It just amazes me!!!Her daddy was finally able to come get her around 1 today, after the ice on the roads had melted a bit. I am now ready for a nap. She must have been having some fierce dreams cause at one point I awoke to a slap on the face, but when I looked she was sound asleep.....I think!

I have to say we didn't miss all the pretty snow. Emma looks so grown up and adorable here.

I can't believe how big Emma is. It seems like just yesterday Sam and I were pregnant and working together. Tell Sam we said hello and we have to get Blake and Emma together one of these days.
